|Battle of St Monar|
|Date:||February 4th, 2014|
|Conflict:||United Nazi War|
|Region:||St Monar, United States|
The Battle of St Monra also known by the United States Inland Army as The Airborne Decent on St Monar was an airborne Insertion by the American Inland forces on the Rural town of St Monar in Northern Main, about 20 Miles from the Atlantic Ocean, and only 5 miles from the coast of Lake Ontario.
Though the assault was a success, the Airborne units dropped from a squadron of C-17 Globemaster III transport planes launched from Ontario Canada, on the night of February 4th, 2014, against Nazi Occupied Main ended up scattered all over much of the surroundings around the town, allowing most of the units to become hunted down by February 5th, by German Armored patrols in the area.
Despite several units being scattered all over the contry sides of Northern Main around St Monar, the United States managed to regrop their forces on the Outskirts of St Monar, and liberate the town from Nazi Germany by 11:35 PM. This victory marked a strong victory against Nazi Germany in Occupied New England, where spirits and hope amongst the New England residents had eventually grown off the cahrts from this one event.
It was also discovered that this engagement was once again a bold attempt in order to establish a beach head in Occupied New England, following the failed Commora Invasion 2 years prior in 2012, only this time during the drop of February 4th, 2014, it was a victory and not a defeat.
